Monday, January 28th, 2008mySF Project podcast, number 1
The first podcast for students studying in one of the five, thematic units within the mySF Project is offered here. This podcast is the very first from the mySF Project, created in 2005, and was a bit rough. It lived in an education intranet with many podcast friends but now it is lain bare here in the public mySF Project space. If you want to read more about the mySF Project you can find an overview at the Microsoft Education website.
The mySF Project is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.5 Australia License.
The point of the podcast here is to share resources with other educators teaching SF to secondary students and to spark discussion, criticism and collaboration. Please use and respond, if you have time. The podcast here is around 4.5M in size, in mp3 format.
The podcast relates to the five, different theme areas within the mySF Project theme area and how they are used. Its purpose is to excite and interest students in Years 8 to 10 with the SF content they will be studying for a term of ten weeks.
